Plot: Ginny weds Sunny

Sunny (Vikrant Massey) is a great cook. His mother Nimmi has an unusual complain about Sunny that he doesn't allow her to cook as he loves to cook and is also worried he may empty the rations of the house quite soon. Sunny has a dream to open his own restaurant but his wish can only be fulfilled if he marries a girl. Sunny is a sweet boy with great cooking skills but he fails when it comes to relationship. Seeing his condition his family decides to arrange a marriage for him. Few blocks away lives Shobha (Ayesha Raza) who is a matchmaker but she hasn't been able to find a man for her daughter Ginny (Yami) as she believes in love marriage. Sunny and Ginny studied in the school and he had a crush on her but could never express himself as he always thinks he was out of her league. Ginny and her ex Nishant broke up three years ago but they are still quite close to each other. Though they are not in a relationship but still they are confused about their feelings and it remains complicated which worries Ginny's mother. Ginny's mother along with Sunny teams up to win Ginny's heart.

Ginny Weds Sunny Netflix film Review: As the genre of the film is romance and both the leads did superbly to make great chemistry. It is Vikrant Massey's presence which catches our attention from the start till the end. Yami Gautam too is adorable and played a great role. As a debut director, Puneet did a great job to bring out the best of his lead actors. The film has a normal pace from the start to the end. The direction is simple and made the film entertaining with some good and clean humour and wonderful acting. Cinematography is fine so is the dialogue writing. 

The plot is not unique and we have come across such stories a lot. This may be a reason to avoid this film. But the movie is a clean entertainer with a good soundtrack, excellent screenplay and beautiful acting.
