The Theory of Everything is a 2014 biographical romantic drama movie directed with the aid of James Marsh. Set at the University of Cambridge, it details the life of the theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking. It became tailored through Anthony McCarten from the 2007 memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Hawking, which offers along with her courting with her ex-husband Stephen Hawking, his analysis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and his fulfilment in the area of physics.

Then he came across another book from his ex-wife Jane Hawking titled "Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen". and he started writing the screenplay. Jane was only convinced of a film on this book after three years. The producer tried their best for this. In 2013 the shooting started in Cambridge and other locations.

Plot - The Theory of Everything
- The Theory of Everything begins with Stephen Hawking being an excellent student and was about to get a doctorate degree. He meets Jane one day, shy in the start but they become close to each other soon. Then Stephen learns about his illness and the life expectancy of two years as said by his doctor. He decides to get away from Jane. But Jane insists they stay together. They get married soon after, and Stephen soon graduates his doctoral study, having more interest in cosmological physics. Jane is a very supportive wife who cares as his illness prolongs with difficulty in speech, motion and more. They have two children and Stephen's work starts to gain the spotlight. Jane tries her best but slowly she is starting getting distressed but didn't reveal anything. Jane's mom advises her to join the church choir where she meets the tutor Jonathan. He gets close to both Stephen and Jane. Jonathan becomes a helping hand for the couple. Soon Jane starts getting feeling for Jonathan and him too. But Jonathan backs once he knew people started talking in his back about the relation with Jane. Jane hires a nurse for help. The newly appointed nurse is more friendly with Stephen which Jane doesn't like. It reached her limit and calls for a divorce.
Review: The Theory of Everything
The breath-taking performance of Eddie as Stephen Hawking made the film a must-watch. He truly deserved the Oscar for the Best Actor. It is difficult to portray such a man with such a terrible disease yet he nailed it perfectly with increasing the intensity of Motor Neuron Disease.

This is one of the best heart touching love story. The more and more Jane (Felicity) helps Stephen, the care she takes makes me awe. It is her acting which was top notch. If this story is as real as the real-life then I call it a pure love from Stephen's wife.
The Theory of Everything is a film that everyone can enjoy and turns into a real audience movie. It is two hours of multi emotions which we go through.
The film desperately wants to be a crowd-pleaser with an uplifting message of inspiration. The score of the film was appreciable, also don't forget the direction. The Director easily manages to capture the bittersweet relation between couples. No complaint in the script or the pace. Everything is just fine in this movie.
Who should watch this film?
- The name Stephen is attached to this film, but don't expect much science in this. You will be disappointed. This film covers the love life of him and his wife and it is must-watch inspirational love film. A beautiful story with a roller coaster of emotions.
